As we get nearer Christmas, our Hanlon Realty 12 Days of Christmas event is winding down. This is the 11th day that the staff and real estate agents in our office have pooled our funds to donate to deserving Newfoundland charities. Today’s recipients was The Gathering Place.
The Gathering Place is a non-profit organization supported by two Roman Catholic parishes and three Anglican parishes in St. John’s. In a caring environment, it provides meals for 80-125 men and women per day and social services such as advocacy, literacy education, and assistance with activities of daily living.
We’re grateful for all the work the Gathering Place does in our community, and we hope that our 12 Days of Giving will help spread the joy of giving.
