Christmas party thrown by NL realtorsWe’re getting closer and closer to Christmas, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still some great activities left for families in and around St. John’s. Now that I have a family of my own, I know how important these types of events are for children, and as a Realtor, I’ve always been invested in fun community-building like this. So here’s some inexpensive and free events that I highly recommend trying to fit into what I’m sure is already a packed holiday schedule!

Holiday Family Storytime

Taking place at the
Marjorie Mews Public Library on 12 Highland Drive, children up to the age of 5 with their caregivers are invited for a morning of stories, rhymes, songs and fun.

Old Carols & Holiday Songs

Kids Club: O Christmas Tree

Winter Solstice Afternoon Celebration
Sunday, December 20, 2015 – 1:30pm to 3:00pm
This afternoon at The Suncor Energy Fluvarium gives everyone a chance to share a story, decorate a tree full of treats as a gift for the animals, share hot chocolate and sing some holiday songs. This event is all about celebrating winter, and some of it will be held outdoors – so make sure to dress appropriately and maybe bring a chair or blanket to sit on. All ages are welcome; admission is $5 for everyone over 2.
